The Metropole Nice Côte d´Azur has made the sustainable economy of the sea and the protection of the coast one of its priorities and has placed new technologies and innovation at the heart of its ambitious policy in this area.In this context, the Metropolis launched, in July 2020, the first edition of the Blue Innovation Challenge, the objective of which is to identify companies with innovative solutions in the maritime sector, in particular port management, coastal protection,biotechnologies and renewable marine energies. 

For this first edition, the Metropole Nice Côté d'Azur has announced 4 laureat for the Blue Innovation Challenge.  

My Data Models startups incubated at the AI@Centech programme powered by Thales has been selected.  

A partnership between MyDataModels and the Thales group, the BlueGuard project consists of building an intelligent system demonstrator for monitoring underwater approaches to sensitive coastal areas. Its objective is to ensure permanent and reliable protection of the maritime facade against the threat of the appearance of submarine UAVs. This innovative solution is based on the complementary nature of Thales' recognized expertise in underwater acoustics and MyDataModels mastery of artificial intelligence technologies.
